Let me begin this by saying that I tried to write this “about me” in my head in 3rd person and I couldn’t get past the 3rd sentence! So let you begin by thanking me for sparing you . Now… Here’s an introduction that I can live with…

I was born and raised in Philadelphia, South Philly to be exact. I come from a large family and I fit somewhere right in the middle of a host of siblings. I am random, observant, resilient, passionate, proudly odd, overly empathetic, occasionally pathetic, moody, encouraging, rude (that’s where the SP kicks in), creative, dramatic, eclectic, the good kind of boring, and most importantly extraordinary! Writing has been a passion of mine since I was a child. Before I could write proper paragraphs, I made up all sorts of things that I dreamed up in my little world.

For many years the flame for ideas became dim and for other years the flame flourished. Whether it was a song, a story, a diary entry, a love letter or a mini script, I realized that I couldn’t stay away from the ink!

There comes a point in life when I think everyone wonders what they want to do forever. When it came to career options, several fields seemed appealing, but that wasn’t enough. I told myself that I never want to have a job that I wouldn’t do for free (if need be) and within these past few years I have fortunately been able to stay true to that thought. In the cheesiest Musiq-esque way, I’ve said all of this to say “I just wanna write”. So here I am and here you are and this is my vision. Welcome. Stay tuned
